YNX Goes Back 2 School Again (Give It 2 Get It #31)

KANCHANABURI PROVINCE, Thailand
Since 2007, Kor Kon Pan Din is a volunteer group that has worked with schools located outside of the larger city centers that are lacking in resources.
Yannix, through the Give It 2 Get It Program, has been working in cooperation with Kor Kon Pan Din since 2018, and recently, we have been working together more closely to identify schools that are in need.
On Sunday, November 24, Yannix and Kor Kon Pan Din volunteers visited Ban Nong Wai School, a school with 54 students and 3 teachers.
The volunteers were greeted by Miss Payao Salasalin (Director) and Mr. Surawong Klintavorn (Group Leader). The tasks performed on the day were many and related to:
- Building Maintenance such as cleaning, painting, roofing, and electrical re-wiring.
- Agricultural Tasks related to planting.
- Fish Pond Construction/Maintenance.
Local Government Officials and Parents also contributed their time and effort on the day. In addition to the labor provided by the volunteers, Yannix donated lunch, snacks and made a financial contribution to the an educational fund for the students.
