Yannix Hollywood Helps (CSR): National Children’s Day/Canal Clean-Up (G2G #39)

The first Yannix HOLLYWOOD HELPS event of the year, (G2G #39), took place on Saturday, January 13, as Yannix returned to the Thung Khru District to take part in the Canal Clean-Up competition in honor of National Children’s Day.
The Thung Khru District is a canal community, and the main event of the day pitted community volunteers against local children in a boat race along the canal. While paddling/rowing their vessels, the participants were also tasked with collecting trash, and debris from the canal while simultaneously propelling their respective boats in a race to the finish line.
The annual event has become a much anticipated pleasure, and YANNIX HOLLYWOOD HELPS is proud to have served again as one of the event’s sponsors. Participants were awarded with snacks, ice cream, drinks, and stationary, sponsored by Yannix, among other local participating organizations.
All in all, National Children’s Day/Canal Clean-Up was a wonderful day of community service that took place in a competitive environment.
