Yannix Pad-Thai Lunch for Songkran

BANGKOK, Thailand
In order to celebrate the biggest and most important Holiday Season on the Thai calendar, Songkran (aka Thai New Year), Yannix held a special lunch event on Tuesday, April 12.
Pad-Thai is known to be a favorite comfort food in Thailand, especially during the temperature hot month of April. So it was appropriate that Yannix invited the Pad-Thai Seafood Food Truck to come to our facility on Thai New Year’s Eve.
For the uninitiated, Pad-Thai, (also known as Phat-Thai or Phad-Thai), is a stir-fried rice noodle dish that is commonly served as a street food throughout Thailand.
Along with rice noodles, Pad-Thai is customarily also made with shrimp, crushed peanuts, egg, chili flakes, bean sprouts, and a lime wedge.
On this day, Yannix employees were treated to some extra special options including fresh river prawns, mussels and a healthy sauce made from ten (10) different kinds of vegetables.
Everyone was also treated to traditional Thai Soda Pop.
All in all, it was the perfect way to kick off the New Year – with a delicious meal and a cool refreshing beverage on a hot day!
