On Saturday, March 14, Yannix Chief Executive, Ms. Noina Winsuth, and Executive Producer, Mr. Danny Turner addressed thirty (30) students in a classroom environment (with still more students able to view the presentation online) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).
The occasion afforded students an opportunity to learn important lessons in professionalism first-hand from the two (2) leaders who work in the fast-paced, high pressure, Hollywood Film/TV Visual Effects/Post Production industry.
The Yannix duo’s classroom presentation focused on such topics as setting proper goals in the workplace, adapting to changes in a high pressure environment, and taking ownership in pursuit of professional excellence. The Yannix University Relations Team also engaged the in-person audience in a career workshop that tested both the students’ skills, and their collective patience.
For Ms. Winsuth, the event marked a personal career milestone as she proudly returned to visit her alma mater.
“To be back at KMUTT was a bit surreal for me. When Dr. Teema (Leangarun) first approached me with the invitation to speak to her students, I found myself reflecting on my career journey, and on the memory of what it was like to be a student in that room back in the day. It was truly an honor to be there, and it was an opportunity for me to reflect on where I came from, and how I got to where I am today,” Ms. Winsuth shared following the event.
“I imagined what words of wisdom and encouragement I might have offered to my younger self to help prepare myself for everything I’ve encountered in my career to date. Looking out at those faces in attendance, I imagined all of the questions I would have asked, and all of the answers I would have wanted to know. I sincerely hope our presentation will help the students as they prepare to transition from academia into the workforce.”
Yannix would like to thank Dr. Teema Leangarun for the opportunity to address the students, and we also want to thank everyone who attended this event in person, and all those who may take the time to view the presentation at a later date.
