On Tuesday, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced its nominees for the 74th Primetime Emmy® Awards, which will honor the best in American primetime television programming during the broadcast period from June 1, 2021 until May 31, 2022.
There are two (2) categories for Visual Effects: Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie, and Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Single Episode.

The 74th Primetime Emmy® Awards will be held “Live” at the Microsoft Theater on Monday, September 12, and will be televised in primetime on Tuesday, September 13 on NBC.
