BANGKOK, Thailand, 22 January 2021

Thailand currently ranks 128th in the World as a recent spike in COVID-19 continues to hit the Kingdom.

According to Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration there have been a total of 12,795 Coronavirus cases in the Kingdom, to date.

The total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Thailand has risen to 71. There have been 11 Coronavirus fatalities in the Kingdom since January 30, 2020 with all 11 of those fatalities occurring within the last 6-7 weeks.

Worldwide, the number of confirmed cases is 97.3 million. The total number of confirmed Coronavirus deaths worldwide has risen to 2.08 million.

Globally, the United States continues to have the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the World (25 million). India ranks #2 (10.61 million), and Brasil is #3 (8.63 million). Russia is ranked #4 (3.63 million) and the United Kingdom closes out the Top 5 with 3.5 million cases.
