BANGKOK, Thailand, 12 March 2020
As the World Health Organization has officially declared the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) to be a pandemic, Yannix has suspended all international business travel and studio visits to our Bangkok facility until further notice.
The measures Yannix is taking are precautionary. Thus far, there have been no cases of COVID-19 at Yannix. We are taking these measures to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our employees.
In recent days and weeks, several industry conferences, like FMX 2020 in Stuttgart, Germany and SXSW in Austin, TX, have been canceled in the wake of the spread of COVID-19. Within the last few days, a visit to Yannix by students from Syracuse University was also canceled due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19.
It is our hope to be able to relax these travel restrictions and return to normalcy once the situation stabilizes and the threat of spread of COVID-19 has been thwarted.
Until such time, Yannix will remain vigilant during these difficult times.
